Google Has Their Own Blog
Published by Picturesque on Tuesday, May 11, 2004 at 9:05 AM.
Google has just started their own Blog to post their own comments and events. Evan Williams, Blogger program manager of Google, writes in the very first message that they are "[...]going to post stuff here - regular bloggy things: What [Google founder] Larry [Page] had for breakfast. What [Google founder] Sergey [Brin] thinks of that Hellboy movie. Which Dawson's Creek character reminds us most of Eric."
Hopefully there will also be subject matter that actually impacts us commoners. While no deep, dark company secrets will be revealed, hopefully there will be inforamtion to help in search engine listings and other Google related matters.

AskJeeves has added PDF searches to their search results. PDF or Portable Document Format is a popular file format for distributing information. It allows users of virtually any computer platform to view a file the same as it appeared on the computer it was created on.
AskJeeves is primarily powered by their own data service, Teoma, and has been excellent competition for the powerhouses Google and Yahoo!.
