Google is testing a new feature that guesses what you are trying to find. As soon as you have started typing Google will try to guess what you are looking for, offering you alternative search keywords and queries with an estimate of the number of pages containing the relevant search keyword phrases. This is similar to the "Did you mean" link currently on their site, but this offers more information without having to click through. Google has added more local news sources to it's news listings. Keep in mind that Google does not have a news source, but instead indexes what it considers to be the best. Check out the new list at http://news.google.com/intl/en_us/about_google_news.html .

Accoona Search Engine

This new search engine focuses on business related web sites. An American/Chinese cooperative effort, Accoona claims to use artificial intelligence to "super target" your search query. The search engine isn't fully ready which may explain why the results aren't generating any rave reviews. Time will tell if they become a major player. Visit them at http://www.accoona.com/ .
China Censors Google News

Interfax reports that Google's new service has been inaccessible in China for more than a week. Interfax adds that the service is still available through the use of proxy servers, a clear indication that it has been blocked by the authorities.

Google isn't talking about this new technology but has been presenting it to the various Amerinan broadasting companies.
