Google Sitemaps - Beta Site Inclusion

Google has introduced a new program that is suppose to alert them better when a site is updated. If you have a site that updates content frequently, this is suppose to allow you to tell Google how frequently and which pages you want indexed. Google does offer software you can upload to your server to assist in the process of building a site map and has help online on building the file you need to submit to Google. You also need a Google account.
Although it is presented as a program for sites that update content often, it seems inappropriate for sites that add and remove pages frequently. There are also reports of servers crashing after installing the software. (This may or may not be true as people have been known to lie before to stop others from taking advantage of a good thing.) It is something to certainly consider testing if Google search listings are important to your business. We are testing it here and will certainly use it if it proves beneficial.
